Elizabeth focuses her practice primarily in the areas of civil litigation and corporate law. She was admitted to the North Carolina State Bar in 2014.

Experience

Since beginning to practice law in 2014, Elizabeth has acquired significant experience in many facets of corporate transactional law, including the formation of various business entities and drafting and negotiating contracts such as covenants not to compete, severance agreements, employment agreements, and service contracts.  Additionally, Elizabeth has engaged in various civil litigation matters, including real estate disputes, federal employment lawsuits, and landlord/tenant disputes, to name just a few.

Elizabeth is licensed to practice in North Carolina and is a member of the North Carolina Bar Association, the Young Lawyers Division of the Wake County Bar Association, and the Wake County division of the North Carolina Association of Women Attorneys.

Education

Elizabeth earned her B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2005 and worked in the banking/finance industry for six years before attending law school.  She graduated from the University Of North Carolina School Of Law with High Honors in 2014 and was elected to the Order of the Coif.  During law school, Elizabeth was a recipient of a merit scholarship and served as a staff member and Contributing Editor for the North Carolina Law Review. She also mentored fellow students as an Honors Writing Scholar and a tutor for the Writing and Learning Resources Center. Elizabeth has participated in the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program and volunteered at the Animal Protection Society of Durham.
